FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between other lashes and our lashes?

The biggest differences between disposable lashes and our lashes are the design, our materials, their quality and how they’re made. Our faux mink lashes are made from 100% vegan and cruelty free materials like silk, and are lightweight and flexible.

Each pair of lashes are hand-made and can be worn 15~25 times with the right care and maintenance.

Can I apply mascara to these lashes?

Please do not apply mascara to your Bambi Beauty lashes. Mascara can ruin the quality of the fibres and limit the number of uses.

If you absolutely must, please try to use non-waterproof and apply just one coat of mascara.

Can I curl my lashes?

We do not recommend you curling your Bambi Beauty lashes as this can create a very unnatural bend in the hair. Try to curl your own natural lash before applying your strip lash.

Can I wear these lashes if I have eyelash extensions?

We do not recommend wearing our lashes if you have eyelash extensions.

How/where should I store my lashes?

To get as many uses out of your lashes as possible, we recommend keeping them inside their original box when you’re not using them, and store the boxes in a cool, dry place. This make them easier to find and helps keep the shape of your lashes.

Can I go swimming with my lashes?

We do not recommend swimming, bathing or going in water in your lashes. The moisture and other chemicals like chlorine can ruin the curl and style of the lash.

How do you apply Bambi Beauty lashes?

Applying lashes depends on the type of glue you’re using, sizing of the lashes, and many other factors.

  1. After removing lash from tray, hold it at both ends and flex a few times to soften the band. You can curl the lash band around the stick of a cotton wool bud (Q-tip) if you find this tricky.
  2. Bring the lash as close to the edge of your natural lashes and press in place. If the lash is too long, remove it from your eyelid and trim with scissors. You can decide to trim from the outer corner or the inner corner (or both) depending on what kind of look you want to achieve. Take your time with this if you need to. Just remember to repeat this for the other lash so that they both match!
  3. Apply a thin coat of lash adhesive along the edge of lash band.
  4. Wait 10-20 seconds to allow the glue to become tacky and add your false eyelashes onto your natural lashes with tweezers or fingers. (Be careful).

How do you remove and clean Bambi Beauty lashes?

With proper care and maintenance you can increase the lifespan of your lovely, luscious Bambi Beauty lashes - So we’ve put together a handy, short guide to cleaning your lashes

  1. Make sure your hands are nice and clean!
  2. You'll need cotton swabs, clean towels, and an oil-free eye-makeup remover.
  3. Wet the end of your cotton swab in oil free eye-makeup remover, and clean the back band of eyelash.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the lash glue to dissolve on the back band.
  5. Remove your strip lash gently by hand.
  6. Place your lashes on a clean towel and use cotton swabs and oil free eye make up remover to clean away any excess glue. Pay extra attention to the lash bands which usually get pretty messy with product buildup. Peel off any remaining glue.
  7. Using another cotton swab dipped in warm water, clean off any remaining mascara.
  8. Arrange your lashes back into their original shape and let them air dry on a towel before storing them back in their original box.
